Duraflex’s 16′ Maxiflex Model B springboard is the diving board is used in all major competitive diving events worldwide. Collegiate dive programs exclusively use Maxiflex B diving boards, as do many high schools. The Maxiflex B aluminum competition diving board has a machined double taper from tip to fulcrum and 200 perforations at the tip of the board. It is lighter in weight, and is said to give a slightly quicker action in the hurdle-step.
